01 — Coarse filtration

Panel / cassette filters

Asiafilter Inc. coarse filters remove dust, allergens, and microorganisms from the air, protect equipment from wear, and keep HVAC systems running efficiently. Adaltech technology increases filtration efficiency, reduces airflow resistance, and extends service life.

Panel and cassette filters provide prefiltration of particles larger than 10 µm — pollen, lint, and small insects.

Filters with dense media are recommended for long service life and high dust holding capacity.

04 — Grease filters

Grease filters

Professional baffle-type grease filters — the first line of defense in kitchen ventilation. The special baffle geometry creates turbulence, forcing grease particles and oil aerosols to settle on the metal plates.

  • Material: AISI 304/430 stainless steel or galvanized steel
  • Design: multi-layer baffle structure with high flow inertia
  • Purpose: capturing grease particles, soot, and coarse cooking contaminants
  • Heat resistance: suitable for grill and open-flame zones
  • Maintenance: reusable — cleaned in dishwashers or with special detergents
Duct protection. Grease filters keep grease out of ventilation ducts, reducing fire load and system cleaning costs.

05 — Fine filtration

Pocket filters

Asiafilter Inc. fine filters capture fine dust, allergens, mold spores, and micro-aerosols — for spaces with strict sanitary requirements.

They consist of a rigid frame and high-efficiency pockets made of multi-layer synthetic media or specialized fiberglass.

The pocket geometry is designed to provide the maximum possible filtration area with minimum aerodynamic resistance.

  • Classes G4–F9 per EN 779 / ISO 16890

09 — FAQ

Frequently asked questions about air filters

Answered by Asiafilter Inc. process engineers. If your question is not here, send us your system parameters and we will review them individually.

Which filter classes do you manufacture?

The full range from G2 to H14. Coarse filtration: panel and cassette G3–G4, Flat Panel G2–G4, Fan-Coil G2–G4. Fine filtration: pocket filters G4–F9 to EN 779 and ISO 16890, Compact / W-type in classes M5–F9.

The top stage is EPA/HEPA absolute filters: Mini-Pleat and Deep-Pleat in class H13 with 99.95% efficiency to EN 1822.

Can you make a non-standard size filter?

Yes, manufacturing to customer dimensions is standard practice across the range. Panel and cassette filters come in 25 and 48 mm thickness in both standard and custom sizes; the Fan-Coil filter frame is available in 4 and 5 mm.

The standard pocket filter size is 592×592 mm with 6 or 8 pockets 360–600 mm deep, but the geometry is calculated for your air handling unit.

How does a pocket filter differ from a panel filter, and which comes first?

A panel filter handles coarse filtration: it captures particles larger than 10 µm — pollen, lint, small insects — and works as the first stage of a multi-stage system, protecting more expensive filters from premature clogging.

A pocket filter handles fine filtration: it captures fine dust, allergens, mold spores and micro-aerosols. The pocket geometry provides maximum filtration area at minimum aerodynamic resistance.

When should a filter be replaced — on schedule or by readings?

When the final pressure drop is reached, not by the calendar: service life depends on the air dust load and how the unit is operated.

Reference points: for panel and cassette filters the final pressure drop is 250 Pa against 70–85 Pa initial; for Flat Panel the recommended final value is 200–250 Pa against 10–30 Pa initial; for pocket filters it ranges from 200 to 450 Pa depending on class. A differential pressure sensor on the unit is the practical way to monitor it.

Do you have filter elements for gas turbines?

Yes. For the power and oil and gas sectors we supply gas turbine (GT) filter elements in classes F9–H12, as well as solutions for anti-corrosion painting of steel structures.

What is needed for a complete paint booth filter set?

A complete paint booth filtration cycle consists of four items. On the supply side: coarse roll filters as pre-protection against outdoor dust and class M5 ceiling filters for final cleaning — they create a laminar flow and prevent paint finish defects.

On the exhaust side: Paint Stop floor filters for paint mist and Andrea labyrinth cardboard filters to capture paint overspray.

Are your HEPA filters suitable for operating theaters and cleanrooms?

Yes, that is their primary application — along with pharmaceutical laboratories, microelectronics and packing areas in food production.

Mini-Pleat class H13 (99.95% efficiency) is a compact design with fine pleats, sizes from 305×305 to 610×610 mm, nominal airflow 250–1000 m³/h. Deep-Pleat H13 with aluminum separators and 292 mm depth is rated for 500–2000 m³/h and stays stable at high humidity.

Are grease filters disposable or washable?

Reusable. Labyrinth grease filters are made of AISI 304/430 stainless steel or galvanized steel and are cleaned in dishwashers or with special agents.

Their job is to keep grease and soot out of the ductwork: this reduces the fire load of kitchen ventilation and the cost of duct cleaning.
